Unwaveringly Christ-centered

Jesus is at center of every moment:

  • Teaching includes Bible lessons and devotions. From preschool to sixth grade, children are taught the foundational truths of the Bible. Age-appropriate Bible memorization is part of every class.
  • Students are taught to honor God with their relationships. We encourage each student as child of God to become more Christ-like. When a student makes a mistake, we have a Christ-centered approach to discipline.
  • We take a moment to marvel. We worship as a school each Wednesday morning, but we are always on the lookout for ways to praise and honor God. Teachers cultivate a sense of God-focused wonder in each child.

Learning to love what God loves

This place is steeped in grace. Students learn the truths of the gospel and then are set to live that out with their peers. We are definitely not perfect, but we grow and learn together, with Christ guiding us.

A community of prayer and love

Meet the Yang family. Namsik and Eun Yang have two children at LSA: Yeasol (3rd grade) Chansol (1st grade), and have been at LSA since 2016 when Yeasol was in preschool. We asked Eun to reflect on the blessing that LSA has been to their family.

Seeing each child through God’s eyes

We know that each LSA student is made in God’s image and that our God makes no mistakes. But in a school setting, achievers are often celebrated and students that don’t quite fit in a box are labeled as problems to be fixed.

A tangible way to have a fresh start

David is helping the students see themselves as God sees them, as loved and full of potential.
